The Yankees were being no-hit through 4.1 innings till a little blooper off the bat of Chisholm fell in front of Stephen Quan for a hit. Later in the inning after an Escarra walk, DJ LeMahieu hit an RBI single scoring Chisholm to give the Yankees a 1–0 lead. Ben Rice would ground out with the bases loaded to end the inning.
The Yankees would score twice in the seventh on back-to-back home runs by Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Anthony Volpe, making it 3–1 NYY.
Mark Leiter Jr. continues his strong season with a scoreless eighth inning.
Devin Williams came on for the Save, his first after relinquishing the closer role from the injured Luke Weaver and made everyone sweat, giving up one run after a double by Santana and an Pinch-hit RBI single by Schneemann, but got Naylor to fly out to end the game.
