KANSAS CITY — For the second game in a row, Yankees INF/OF Jazz Chisholm Jr. is removed from the game early, tonight in the fifth inning.
Chisholm reached base via a walk, and was moved to third after a double by Volpe, and was moving around a lot on third, looking like he was trying to stretch out his legs.
UPDATE 1 (In-Game):
The Yankees announced that Chisholm left the game with “left groin tightness”
Update 2 (Post-Game):
Manager Aaron Boone told the media that Chisholm Jr. felt something in his groin when he pulled up to third in the fifth inning. They were running tests, and would know more in the morning, but all signs, so far, pointed to that Chisholm should be fine.
