EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The New York Giants are making a quarterback switch ahead of week four, according to multiple reports.

The Giants are benching veteran QB Russell Wilson after an 0-3 start and a lackluster performance on Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs. Wilson had one game this season where his performance had some resemblance of positivity, and it was the week two overtime loss to the defenseless Dallas Cowboys, where the pick six thrown by Wilson lead to the team’s eventual loss.

In a desperate attempt for head coach Brian Daboll to keep his job, the Giants are turning to rookie Jaxson Dart to take up the starting duties ahead of week four against the Chargers at MetLife Stadium.

Dart was drafted by the Giants in May out of Ole Miss and had a solid preseason, puting Dart in position to possibly make a statement for the Giants, and give some hope for the future of the orginization.

For HC Brian Daboll, he is cashing all his chips in that Dart will show some improvement, and possibly get a few wins, and show the front office that Daboll is leading the Giants in the right direction in terms of coaching and developing young players.

Russell Wilson will remain on the team as QB 2.
