NEW YORK — After Judge winced throwing a ball in from right field on Tuesday afternoon, the alarms in many Yankee fans heads were going off.

After a disappointing loss on Friday to the Blue Jays where the bullpen gave up 10 runs, Yankee fans woke up on Saturday morning to see that Aaron Judge was not in the lineup. Both Boone and Judge shrugged off the winze after Tuesday’s 5-4 win over the Blue Jays, but there was clearly something more that was not mentioned.

It appeared that Judge was lobbying some balls in from right field on Friday against the Phillies, and now he lands on the IL with “right elbow flexor strain.” Boone noted that his UCL is intact and Judge received a PRP injection.

Losing Judge for any stretch of time is detrimental to a team that is in total free fall right now. This offense generally goes as Judge goes, so we might be in for a disaster. The good news is Judge should not be out for too long.

More information to come.
