July 28th, 2025:

  • The Red Sox will not be trading Jaren Duran at the trade deadline, but an offseason trade is still possible.

July 27th, 2025:

  • BREAKING: The Royals extend Seth Lugo

  • The Red Sox are interested in RHP Edward Cabrera

  • The Dodgers are interested in CF Harrison Bader

  • White Sox want Mark Vientos from the Mets in any deal for Luis Robert Jr.

  • Cubs are targeting Mitch Keller and would include prospect Owen Caissie

  • Jhoan Duran, David Bednar, Ryan Helsley believed to be 3 best relievers traded

  • Mitch Keller, Sandy Alcantara both expected to be traded

  • Phillies want to add 1 more high-leverage reliever

  • Red Sox have no plans to trade Jarren Duran at deadline and are more likely to move him this winter

  • Marcell Ozuna is expected to approve any trade if the team guarantees him everyday playing time

  • Braves plans to pick up Ozzie Albies’ $7M option this winter, and will at least listen to offers for him

  • Brewers will listen to offers for Nestor Cortes

  • Diamondbacks haven’t engaged in extension talks with Eugenio Suárez this season

July 26th, 2025:

  • The Yankees traded for IF/OF Amed Rosario from the Washington Nationals in exchange for RHP Clayton Beeter and OF Browm Martínez.

  • The Royals traded for OF Randal Grichuk from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for RHP Andrew Hoffmann.

  • The Yankees are expected to go “all in” even after the Aaron Judge injury.

  • The Cardinals are shopping Ryan Helsley, Phil Maton and Steven Matz, per Katie Woo

  • The Mets have expressed interest in Sandy Alcantara, but the price is steep, per Mike Puma

  • The Yankees have expressed interest in Willi Castro even after the McMahon trade

July 25th, 2025:

  • The Dodgers and Yankees have expressed interest in Brandon Donovan, per Katie Woo

  • Pirates unsure if they want to trade Mitch Keller

  • If Dodgers trade Dustin May it would likely be for OF

  • Dylan Moore made available by Mariners

  • Expectation rising Luis Robert Jr. will be traded, the Mets are expected to be interested

  • BREAKING: The Yankees acquire INF Ryan McMahon from the Rockies for LHP Griffin Herring and RHP Josh Grosz, per Mark Feinsand and Jeff Passan

  • The Mets acquire LHP Gregory Soto from the Orioles for Wellington Arecena and Cameron Foster, per Andy Martino

  • The Yankees’ priority is (and has been) pitching, and that they have been willing to listen on some of their younger/bigger names, especially catchers, including Ben Rice, Rafael Flores and Jesus Rodriguez, per Brendan Kuty

July 24th, 2025:

  • The New York Mets are among the handful of teams to have checked in on White Sox CF Luis Robert Jr. per Pat Ragazzo

  • Mets are not in on Suarez, per Jon Heyman

  • The Arizona Diamondbacks are expected to trade 5 to 6 more players following the Josh Naylor deal, per Francys Romero

  • The Yankees have talked to Pirates about Oneil Cruz (and some others). Price is said “steep,” but that’s no surprise, per Noah Hiles.

  • The Mariners plan to remain engaged in potential Eugenio Suarez trade, per Adam Jude. The price is looking steep.

  • BREAKING: The DBacks have traded first baseman Josh Naylor to the Mariners for Ashton Izzi and Brandyn Garcia, per Ken Rosenthal

  • Eugenio Suárez is the crown jewel of this trade market, but sources say Arizona — which is in sell mode — is asking for “a ton” for the slugger, and if that price isn’t met, the Diamondbacks might hold him and try to re-sign him in the offseason, per Mark Feinsand

  • Per Jon Heyman, One Yankee prospect coveted by trade partners: Catcher Rafael Flores, who was just called up to Triple-A.

  • The Arizona Diamondbacks are also “all over” the Yankees system right now, according to Andy Martino. Arizona also has pitching to sell.

  • The Arizona Diamondbacks have been scouting the Mets’ Double-A team for a potential deal for third baseman Eugenio Suarez, per Andy Martino.

  • The Yankees are receiving calls about Ben Rice as a catcher, per Joel Sherman. Sherman notes that it would take a lot for the Yankees to trade Rice, but could be used as a part of a big trade that would not eat up all the minor league talent.

  • The Padres have shown interest in Sandy Alcantara per Will Salmon of the Athletic.

  • The Dodgers could use Dustin May as a trade chip, per Ken Rosenthal

July 23rd, 2025:

  • Teams have reached out to Pittsburgh about Oneil Cruz, per Mark Feinsand. The Pirates will listen, they’re not prioritizing such a move

  • From the sound of Jack Curry , Eugenio Suarez, Ky’Bryan Hayes and Ryan McMahon seem all out of the picture for the Yankees for a variety of reasons.

  • The Yankees have interest in Ryan McMahon as a backup to Eugenio Suarez, per Mark Feinsand. Other Yankees sources have indicated that they are hesitant about Suarez due to his poor defense.

  • The Reds have shown interest in Eugenio Suarez per C. Trent Rosecrans and Ken Rosenthal

  • The Cubs “are one of the teams most actively monitoring” Guardians RHP Emmanuel Clase, per Francis Romero

  • Dylan Cease, set to become a free agent at the end of the season, has drawn interest from several clubs. Other teams believe the Padres are focused on making a playoff push and could use Cease as a trade chip to address other areas of need. The Mets, multiple AL East teams, and the Cubs are among those who have discussed him, per Buster Onley

  • The Twins are seeking “at least two top-100-caliber prospects” in return for either RHP Jhoan Duran or RHP Griffin Jax in any trade before the deadline, per Jeff Passan .

  • Multiple teams have expressed interest in All-Star left fielder Steven Kwan, and while the Guardians are open to listening on him—as well as standout relievers Emmanuel Clase and Scott Barlow—they would require a significant offer to consider a deal, per Jon Heyman. Phillies and Padres have emerged as the teams most interested

  • Orioles RHP Charlie Morton is generating serious trade interest, per Jon Heyman

  • The Yankees plan to go “all in” at this trade deadline and have the trade pieces to do it, per Jeff Passan

July 22nd, 2025:

  • Per Jon Heyman, The Marlins are expected to listen to offers on the following players: Edward Cabrera, Sandy Alcantara, Jesús Sánchez, Anthony Bender.

  • As of today, the Twins are seriously listening on rental players like Danny Coulombe, Harrison Bader, and Willi Castro. They’ll also hear offers on All-Star Joe Ryan and closer Jhoan Duran — but it’d take a massive return, especially for Ryan, per Jon Heyman

July 21st, 2025:

  • The Yankees, Cubs and Mariners are among teams to inquire on Eugenio Suarez , per Jon Heyman . The asking price will be high for the NL leader in home runs.

  • Several teams have contacted the Nationals about LHP MacKenzie Gore, the team will listen but a trade is unlikely, per Jon Heyman

  • The Athletics are listening to offers on Luis Severino, J.P. Sears and Jeffrey Springs, according to Ken Rosenthal . The A’s still do not want to trade closer Mason Miller.

July 20th, 2025:

  • The Athletics will not trade Mason Miller. Teams have been calling in recent weeks, believing that they could turn Miller into a starter but the A’s understandably won’t deal him this year.

  • The St. Louis Cardinals are considering trading closer Ryan Helsley. Bob Nightingale reports that at least five contenders have shown interest in the closer.

  • The Cleveland Guardians expect to keep closer Emanuel Clase, despite the growing speculation on a potential trade.

  • The Twins are expected to keep Joe Ryan, but will listen to offers. If made available, Ryan could be the most valuable starter to be delt this deadline. The price tag will also be high.

  • The Mariners and Cubs also remain interested in Eugenio Suárez.

  • The Yankees have been in regular contact with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Jon Heyman of the NY Post lists Ke’Bryan Hayes, David Bednar, Dennis Santana and Isaiah Kinner-Faleffa as players who interest the Yankees.

  • The Nationals have made Kyle Finnegan, Josh Bell, Amed Rosario, Mike Soroka and Nathaniel Lowe all available in trades, per Bob Nightengale

  • The Yankees and Red Sox are among the teams scouting Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly from the DBacks. The DBacks want pitching in return for trades, per Bob Nightengale

July 19th, 2025:

  • RHP Jimmy Herget from the Rockies is generating trade interest, per Jon Morosi. Herget has pitched to a 1.23 ERA in 22 innings on the road in 2025 and is under control til 2027.

  • The Guardians will listen to offers on star relievers Emmanuel Clase and Cade Smith, but the high prices make a trade unlikely, per Jon Heyman

  • The Yankees and Mariners have expressed interest in a potential trade with the DBacks for 3B Eugenio Suarez, per Buster Onley of ESPN
